🚨 Cheney, WA: 56-year-old Wendy Clemente is caught on VIDEO swerving a silver Ford Focus up onto the SIDEWALK, chasing a child on a dirt bike right in front of people’s homes. Neighbors are screaming “Oh my God!” as she barely misses the kid, a fire hydrant, and bushes while using a 3,000+ lb vehicle like a weapon.

She was reportedly DRUNK, tried to hit the kid, then shows up at a stranger’s house about a mile away trying door handles like she’s about to break in. Deputies say she resists, even tries to KICK a patrol deputy while being arrested. This isn’t a “oops I made a mistake” traffic stop — this is attempted vehicular assault on a CHILD plus DUI and trespass. 🚔

Her excuse? She tells deputies she “took her dog for a ride” and was “looking for other dogs to socialize with” and claims she doesn’t even remember chasing the kid. 🙄🐶 Then she admits she had been drinking. So: drunk, on video, driving on the sidewalk at a child, then prowling around someone else’s home. But wait, it gets worse…

Spokane County books her on FIRST-DEGREE ATTEMPTED ASSAULT, DUI, and CRIMINAL TRESPASS. Any normal person would expect at least a serious bond and a long stay behind bars after something this insane. Instead? A Spokane County Superior Court commissioner lets her go — RELEASED ON HER OWN RECOGNIZANCE. No bond. No real consequences. Just right back out into the community. 😡

Meanwhile, average Americans get hammered with fines and jail time over non-violent “crimes,” but an allegedly drunk woman using a car as a weapon against a kid is treated like she just forgot to pay a parking ticket. This is how you DESTROY public trust in the system. 💯

This is not “restorative justice.” This is negligence. This is how you get people killed. That child is lucky to be alive — next time, the outcome might be a body on the pavement instead of a viral video.

Every parent should be furious. Every neighbor in that community should be at that courthouse demanding to know why an intoxicated attempted child-mower is back on the streets instead of behind bars awaiting trial. 🧱
