A federal agent has been injured in a clash between officers and anti-ICE demonstrators in downtown Los Angeles.

The 40-year-old, whose identity and agency were not disclosed, was hurt during the altercation with students at around 1:30pm.

The injury occurred after protestors began “fighting with Federal Agents on Alameda between Temple and Aliso” streets, the LAPD said.

Shocking footage showed one demonstrator wildly swinging a pole at cops, though it is unclear if it is how the injury occurred.

Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded to the injured federal agent, the LAPD said.

The agent was transported to a hospital in fair condition at 1:34pm, a Fire Department spokesman told the California Post.

Police said the protesters involved evaded them.

“Suspects who attacked the Federal Agents have blended into the March,” said a post on X from the LAPD’s Central Division.

Protesters also committed vandalism and blocked traffic on streets around the Edward R. Roybal Federal Building, police said.
