Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.) said on Wednesday that the Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets, a subpanel of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, will hold a hearing next month about the controversialMK-Ultra program,a topic I investigated in detail inCONFESSIONS OF AN ILLUMINATI VOLUME 11 The Past, Present, and Future of Mind Control from Sun Tzu to MK-ULTRA and Beyond.Luna, who chairs the task force, wrote, “Hearing on May 13. MK Ultra. House Oversight Taskforce,” in apost on social platform X. The hearing is happening now as part of a broader, ongoing investigation into government transparency, fueled by recent, newly declassified CIA documents concerning mind control and allegations that federal agencies are still withholding significant records. Luna cited a February 2026 article highlighting a new report on intelligence services studying mind control that was added to the CIA reading room last year when theNational Security Archivepublished over 1,200 documents in early 2025 detailing the CIA’s Cold War-era mind-control experiments, which utilized LSD and other methods on unwitting citizens.
The Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets aims to identify victims and institutions involved in these experiments and to force the disclosure of names that the CIA has historically refused to release, citing privacy laws. Luna argued that transparency is needed to build trust, noting that the agency has not been “clean” in its past dealings with the American people. This might be true, but it’s a little too late, as it is highly unlikely that any of the core CIA personnel or principal researchers directly working on the MK-Ultra programs (1953–1973) are still alive in 2026, and there is only a small number of survivors, particularly from the Canadian “brainwashing” experiments, that have surfaced in recent years, where individuals likeLana Ponting, actively shared their stories in 2025 as part of continuing legal challenges.
As of 2025, survivors and their families, represented by lawyers, are continuing to seek accountability for the experiments conducted at the controversial Allan Memorial Institute.
As I explained in Volume 11:The infamous Canadian MK-ULTRA studies even made their way into Robert Ludlum’s books and movies about Jason Bourne. “In Ludlum’s fiction, the CIA takes a young man to a special institution where a psychiatrist erases his memories and then reprograms him to become Jason Bourne, the consummate assassin. I suppose that would qualify for brainwashing,” says Dr. Joel E. Dimsdale, author, Distinguished Professor Emeritus, and Research Professor at the Department of Psychiatry at the University of California, San Diego, who adds, “The plot (aside from assassin training) was based on true events in Montreal under the aegis of the Social Ecology Program and the CIA.”
I also outlined in the same book that Canada has been sadly, “The brainwashed laboratory for the Western world,” even during the pandemic. Confirmation came onDecember 2, 2020, whenan internal Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) investigation, conducted by retired Major-General Daniel Gosselin, concluded that Canadian military leaders saw the COVID-19 pandemic as a unique opportunity to test out propaganda techniques on an unsuspecting public.[1]Leftists still regard Canada as a “civilized, liberal, and humane”[2]place, but the truth is that “Oh… Canada” has always been a mind control laboratory for the New World Order and the Illuminati.
In the meantime, while renewed interest seems to be officially rooted in findings released between December 2024 and April 2025, which confirmed new details about unwitting subjects, including Korean War POWs, the program was more extensive than previously understood. Skeptics indicate this might be (yet another) distraction by a desperate government in a growing, tumultuous political landscape driven by economic crisis, but some advocates and commentators, such as journalist Ross Coulthart, still believe this may reveal “dirty secrets” within the intelligence community and address current concerns about government transparency. We can try to be positive, but don’t be disillusioned if nothing more is revealed, as the most relevant documents concerning MK-ULTRA were destroyed in the early 70s, as I explained in detail inVolume 11.
