Results from seven constituencies spread across Gujarat, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Nagaland and Tripura will be declared alongside the Assembly election results of Assam, Kerala, Puducherry, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal, making it a high-stakes political day for parties across the country.Assembly Bypoll Key Seats 2026:The bypolls were held in Umreth (Gujarat), Bagalkot and Davanagere South (Karnataka), Baramati and Rahuri (Maharashtra), Koridang (Nagaland) and Dharmanagar (Tripura). Several of these seats were necessitated by the deaths of sitting MLAs, including senior leaders from the BJP and Congress.
