An eerie doomsday music video depicting California as a dystopian state of corruption and failed political policies has gone viral on social media.
The video, posted byMiguel Fornia on Xand shared by Elon Musk, has already garnered over 37 million views.
To the cover of “California Dreamin’” by The Mommas & The Papas, the parody starsGovernor Gavin Newsomand Los Angeles MayorKaren Bass, with gang members setting cars on fire.
“Corruption at the top, arrogance on display,” the video’s lyrics sing, criticizing Newsom’s response to the Palisade’s Fire.
It also features disgraced Congressman and former gubernatorial candidateEric Swalwell, as well as Congresswoman Maxine Waters and Sen. Adam Schiff.
The video pokes fun at several controversial policies, including the state’s high-speed rail that has ballooned to astaggering $231 billion.

“Hard to take a walk, communities in decay,” the lyrics continue as the video highlights LA’shomelessness problem.
President Donald Trump is later seen playing the flute in front of some of the state’s mot iconic landmarks, including Disneyland, the Golden Gate Bridge and Griffith Observatory.
