Kim Si-woo has set a new career high with his sixth top-10 finish of the PGA Tour season and also reached his personal-best No. 20 in the world rankings.
Kim finished tied for fourth at the Cadillac Championship at Trump National Doral's Blue Monster Course in Miami, Florida, on Sunday (local time), with a four-round total of 11-under 277. After shooting a two-under 70 in the final round, Kim ended up eight strokes behind the winner, Cameron Young of the United States.
Kim played in the final group with Young and the eventual runner-up, Scottie Scheffler, who had been tied for second place with Kim entering Sunday. Both Young and Scheffler carded 68s, while Kim had three birdies and a bogey to fall further back.
Still, Kim has established a new personal best for a season with six top-10 finishes. Kim previously had five top-10s on five earlier occasions: 2015-16, 2017-18, 2018-19, 2020-21 and 2022-23 seasons.
Kim then jumped five spots to reach his career-high No. 20 in the latest world rankings, released right after the Cadillac Championship. Kim ended the 2025 season at No. 47.
Kim, 30, is also closing in on his career best for the prize money earned in a season. He collected $5,397,030 in the 2022-23 campaign, and after receiving $841,666 at the Cadillac Championship, Kim has earned $4,813,604 so far this season with over six months left.
