New Hyde Park-Garden City Park Union Free School District hosted its annual Art Exhibition, featuring approximately 450 student artists from grades K-6, on April 20.

Coordinated by the district’s art teachers Jenna Marotta and Sharon Rebecchi, the exhibit highlighted a wide range of artistic mediums such as charcoal, collage, colored pencil, oil pastels and watercolor. Families, teachers and administrators were invited to attend and explore the student gallery.

During the exhibit, 17 orchestra students from all four school buildings were invited to perform their NYSSMA solos. They were joined by teachers Alyssa Budzynski and Mario Mannarino.

This annual exhibition continues to celebrate students’ creativity while offering a glimpse into the projects and skills developed in art and music classes throughout the district.
