India are all set to take on Pakistan in their third game of the T20 World Cup 2026, and arguably the biggest match of the group stage of the tournament. The match is expected to be a belter, as India aim to continue their terrific record against their arch-rivals in T20 World Cups, winning their 8th game. However, fans and players might be worried, because the weather gods might play spoilsport.
According to Accuweather.com, Sunday is expected to be a rainy day in Colombo. There is a 93% probability of rain during the day, and a 26% probability of thunderstorms. A total rainfall of 12.1 mm is expected.
However, during the evening the chances of rainfall drops to 13%. The match between India and Pakistan starts at 7 PM IST. Hence, there is not much rainfall expected during the match. However, the rain throughout the day can make the outfield and pitch wet, which could affect the game.
