This is an unusual blog today, because I am trying by its means to help out an acquaintance. By now you’ve probably all heard of the missing scientists story that began with the disappearance of US Air Force General McCasland. Most of these scientists have been connected to related issues: space, research into exotic propulsion technologies, the UFO phenomenon, anti-gravity, and so on. This has sparked a variety of speculation from various quarters about what might be going on. It has even compelled the Trump administration and members of congress to call for an investigation, as if they are entirely clueless as to what may be going on.

They may indeed be clueless (and their are abundant examples in how the whole Iran military operation has been handled), or they may not be clueless. For many people, the idea is that these missing scientists are being removed because they would be the ones in a position to question any narrative that the government may choose to put out regarding UFOs, UFO “disclosure”, or even a potential “contact” situation. For my part, I tend to view the disappearances as part of the marketing campaign on UFOs that the goobernment has been pushing ever since Elizondo became a household name and frequent guest on the lamestream propatainment media and a subject of discussion forThe New York Times. The goobernment, let it be noted, had finally acknowledged the existence of UFOs, and that some of them were a technology. The goobernment even held congressional hearings with carefully stage-managed “whistleblowers” giving scintillating testimony while their military and intelligence handlers were clearly visible in the gallery behind them, making sure the narrative developed “appropriately”. Photos and films were made public. “Look! See? It’s an advanced technology thingie that we can’t produce and that’s utterly beyond us!” A video of missing Malaysia Air Flight 370 even showed up, allegedly showing UFOs (in the form of glowing orbs) circling the aircraft before it disappears into a wormhole… or something.

So, yes, I do view the missing scientists as the second phase of this goobernment marketing operation. What better way to gin up interest than to have a bunch of people involved in related areas suddenly go missing?

Except that it has become very serious… deadly serious, with the recent sudden suicide of long-time alternative researcher David Wilcock, a frequent commenter and writer on the UFO phenomenon and related issues. I did not know Mr. Wilcock well, though I did refer to some of his ideas (particularly in my bookThe Philosophers’ Stone). I agreed with him on a few things, strongly disagreed on a few others. On a very few times we had occasion to email or talk by phone. I was therefore stunned when I heard the story that he was dead, apparently by his own hand by gunshot to the head, after a call he apparently and allegedly placed to local authorities. They showed up at his home in Colorado, and then he shot himself. Some people are maintaining that it was because he was facing severe health issues, other people maintain he was having financial issues, some connect both. Some are very doubtful of the whole suicide narrative. For myself, I am stunned, because from my own very limited experience and contact with him years ago, he just did not then nor does he strike me now as the type to do personal harm to himself, not without a considerable degree of pressure and “external mental manipulation and influence” via mind manipulation technologies. In short, something about this sad even just feels “off” to me. I could, of course, be completely wrong. But nonetheless something just feels “off”. It is a sad capstone to a pattern.

I raise all these issues because Dr. Brandenburg recently shared a post (this was brought to my attention by K.M., who was aware of my acquaintance with Dr. Brandenburg):

The post is dated April 22, 2026, and is an obvious reference to the missing scientists pattern; it is short, and to the point:
