Tourists planning on a trip to theHappiest Place on Earthmight want to double check that your favorite Disney ride is open, following several closures announced ahead of the summer months.
Pixie Hollow and “Fantasmic” have joined the already announced list of closures at the Anaheim theme park in Southern California, which includesfan-favorite “Pirates of the Caribbean” and the Blue Bayou restaurant.
The attractions will be shuttered at various times in May for what the park calls routine refurbishments at Disneyland andDisney California Adventure, according to theDisneyland website.
“Pirates of the Caribbean” will close its doors on Monday May 4, with a returned date estimated to be in early June, per theOrange County Register.
The Blue Bayou restaurant — which allows diners to experience the inside atmosphere of the “Pirates of the Caribbean” will be closed from May 4-May 20, per theUndercover Tourist.
Pixie Hollow will be open in May except for closures on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the month, with this lasting until June 7, 2026, the report noted.

The “Fantasmic” show will be closed throughout various week days in the month of May, returning May 22 for the summer season.
The announcement comes following other rides at the park that have been shuttered like Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters, Silly Symphony Swings, and Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind — all that are expected to be back by early June, per the report.
Other recent closures have involved thefamed Disneyland Monorail, Davy Crockett’s Explorer Canoes, and Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin, all which reopened on Friday May 1 after being closed for months.
