Communist Party’s anti-corruption agencies say there is still a danger of graft in the promotion process
Among the fresh warnings on Thursday was a caution against associating with “political swindlers”, people who fraudulently claim to have links to senior officials so they can peddle promotions for cash.
“Corruption and malpractice in the promotion and appointment of officials have not been eradicated, some problems pose a risk of resurgence, and some potential harm to the leadership transition has not been completely eliminated,” the notice said.
