Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh:Mukhtar Ansari gang member and shooter Bobby, also known as Shoaib Kidwai, was shot dead by two motorcycle riders on the Lucknow–Ayodhya highway on Friday (February 13) afternoon, police said, according to a media report. The deceased was found in the driver’s seat of a stationary car at Asaini Mod in Barabanki district, having sustained multiple bullet injuries. Police have launched an investigation to identify the unknown assailants.
Police received a call between 1:00 and 1:30 p.m. reporting a body in a blue car at Asaini Mod. Upon arrival, officers identified the victim as Bobby, who was already dead. He was taken to a hospital, where doctors confirmed his death, reported news agency ANI.
A forensic team inspected the scene, and CCTV footage is being analyzed. Police are also questioning passers-by who may have witnessed the incident. Authorities said there is currently no information about the attackers, and further details will be shared as the investigation progresses.
Doctors at the District Trauma Centre confirmed that Bobby was brought in dead at around 1:52 p.m. Dr. Anand, on emergency duty, said the exact number of bullet wounds will be determined after the post-mortem examination.
