On Thursday, the mentally compromised president of the United States reposted Marc Thiessen’s suggestion for ending the war with Iran. “If there are two factions in Iran, one that wants a deal and one that doesn’t, let’s kill the ones who don’t want a deal,”Thiessen wrote.

This “solution” to the war against Iran started by Trump and Bibi Netanyahu is to murder more people, Thiessen told Fox News. The neocon wants to murder only certain Iranian leaders, while Trump earlier posted his desire tomass murder everyone in Iran, not only taking the country back to the Stone Age, but completely eradicating its nine thousand year old civilization.

Thiessen elaborated his bloodlust desire on the pages of the CIA’s favorite newspaper, The Washington Post. I was unable to read the article. It is locked up behind a pay wall. These days, if you’re interested in reading lies and misinformation about Bibi’s war, you have to surrender your credit card numbers.Antiwarsummarized the article for us:

In the piece, Thiessen argued that Trump should restart the bombing campaign against Iran. “Right now, the remnants of the Iranian regime are under the misimpression that Trump wants a deal more than they do,” he wrote… Trump needs to disabuse them of that notion. He has reportedly told Iran that it has three to five days to make a serious counteroffer. If it fails to do so, he should resume combat operations—starting with strikes targeting Iran’s recalcitrant leaders. If the Iranian regime is really ‘fractured’ between a faction that wants a deal and a faction that does not, there is a simple solution: Kill the faction that does not,” Thiessen said.

Thiessen probably realizes bombing campaigns do not win wars. However, the objective is not to win. It is to decimate Iran, turn it into a failed state no different than Libya. Iran is not a sparsely populated country in the Maghreb, though. It is a large country, three times the size of Texas, with a population approaching 100 million. Israel and the US have demonstrated the relative ease of martyring Shia clerics and IRGC leaders, but this is an act of futility, as Iran immediately replaces the fallen with new religious leaders and military officers. It might take a few decades to kill every “recalcitrant leader” put into place. It will certainly not happen before the midterms.

Thiessen was a top dog speechwriter for President George Bush the Lesser and his secretary of forever war, Donald Rumsfeld. He spent six years as a spokesman and senior advisor to North Carolina Senator Jesse Helms. He also worked for Black, Manafort, Stone and Kelly, a political consulting and lobbying firm. Charlie Black was a chief adviser forJohn McCainand “worked for some of the world’s worst dictators—mass murderers, terrorists, and tyrants.”
