Royal Challengers Bengaluru(RCB) pulled off one of the greatest bowling performances on a stormy night in Delhi to decimate Delhi Capitals (DC) by nine wickets. At one point,DClooked they may get bowled out for less than 49, the lowest score in the history of IPL, but Abhishek Porel's 30 got them to 75. The defeat was inevitable, and RCB completed the chase in just the seventh over, continuing their juggernaut in IPL 2026. It was a rare IPL game where the bowlers dominated, and it helped teams create massive records.
The DC vs RCB game was wrapped up in 138 balls, which is the second shortest match in the history of IPL, excluding rain-curtailed matches. The shortest remains the 125-ball clash between MI-KKR at Wankhede in 2008.
