In a strongly worded statement, she said that Kimmel’s rhetoric was “intended to divide” the country and accused him of spreading negativity under the guise of comedy. She further added that such remarks contribute to a growing sense of division in American society and should not be given a platform on mainstream television.
Calling Kimmel a 'coward,' Melania also directly called out ABC, the network that airs Kimmel’s show, questioning its role in allowing such content to be broadcast. She argued that the network’s leadership must take responsibility and decide how long they will continue to support what she described as “atrocious behavior.”
