Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA), one of the most extreme leftists in Congress, made the jaw-dropping claim this week that transgender people 'hurt absolutely no one' — a statement so divorced from reality it would be laughable if it weren't so dangerous.
Tell that to the biological women who've been robbed of athletic scholarships by male competitors claiming to be female. Tell that to the parents watching their confused children be groomed by school counselors into life-altering medical procedures. Tell that to the women in shelters, prisons, and locker rooms who've lost their safe spaces to biological males.
Jayapal's delusion comes as evidence mounts that the transgender movement has become a full-scale assault on biological reality and parental rights. From drag queen story hours targeting kindergarteners to 'gender-affirming care' that sterilizes confused teenagers, the left's trans obsession is leaving a trail of destroyed lives in its wake.
But like Ahab, Democrats can't let go of their obsession. They'd rather drag the entire ship down with them than admit they've been chasing a destructive fantasy.
President Trump's administration has already begun rolling back the Biden regime's extremist transgender policies in federal agencies and the military. But Democrats like Jayapal continue doubling down on their failed ideology, proving they've learned nothing from their devastating electoral losses.
