Several suspects were arrested during a dangerous human smuggling bust that culminated in a lengthy dog-led foot pursuit in South Texas.
The Texas Department of Public Safety (TxDPS) just released footage and details from the incident, which unfolded in Uvalde County on April 14.

TxDPS troopers attempted to pull over a suspicious pickup truck but the driver took evasive action, leading them on a high-speed chase.
Following a bailout on a dirt road, the driver was quickly apprehended but several occupants managed to escape into the brush.
A TxDPS K-9 tracked two illegal aliens for more than a mile before they were finally caught and taken into custody.
The driver is now facing federal charges for smuggling of persons and evading arrest.
The illegal aliens were turned over to U.S. Border Patrol for processing.
