A day after round 2 of the US and Iran peace talks failed to take off in Islamabad, Pakistan mediators are trying to revive the mediation efforts. On Saturday, April 25, Iran's foreign minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi had left Islamabad without waiting for US envoys. Trump had also cancelled the scheduled visit of his officials saying Washington was having all the cards and added that if Tehran wants, it can call them (US) at any time. Iran conveyed to Pakistan that they will not participate in any direct or indirect talks until US lifts Strait of Hormuz blockade.
