Alex Jones went live on Sunday morning to cover the attempted assassination of Donald Trump at the White House Correspondents dinner the night before and the widespread public speculation that the shooting could have been staged.

31-year-old Cole Thomas Allen of California reportedlyassembled a “long weapon”in a room near the ballroom before opening fire, striking a Secret Service agent and getting shot in return.

There are many oddities surrounding the event that caused internet users to question the authenticity of the incident, so Jones detailed the controversial parts of the situation and concluded he does not believe the shooting was staged.

Journalist Laura Loomer criticized Jones for simply titling his video, “Was the Trump Whitehouse Correspondents Dinner Shooting Staged?”

“This is truly a despicable thing for Alex to say about the Trump administration,” she wrote.

Meanwhile, 𝕏 users in the comment section pointed out Jones clearly stated he DOES NOT believe the shooting was staged.
