Donald Trump, on Sunday, said that the DC shooting suspect left writings with calls to target administration officials and had anti-Christian views, reported AP. The President also informed that the suspect's family had raised concerns about him with the police ahead of the targeting of the media gala. On Saturday night, the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner event at Washington Hilton turned into a crime scene after a man, armed with multiple weapons, opened fire outside the ballroom where the city's most anticipated media gathering was taking place. President Trump, First Lady Melania, Vice President JD Vance, members of both parties, and members of the media fraternity were the attendees.

According to Fox News anchor and White House correspondent, Jacqui Heinrich, DC shooting suspect Cole Allen's written manifesto clearly stated he wanted to target administration officials. "He also had a ton of anti-Trump and anti-Christian rhetoric on his social media accounts."

She further informed that Allen's brother had notified New London Police Department about his alleged manifesto, which he (suspect) had sent to his family members prior to the incident.

Adding further, Heinrich said, "Secret Service and Montgomery County Police interviewed Avriana Allen, suspect's sister, at their residence in Rockville, MD.
