Across the country, families are feeling the strain of an affordability crisis. The cost of groceries, housing, transportation, and everyday essentials continues to rise. Budgets are tighter than they have been in years, and consumers are looking closely at every monthly expense.
For many families, mobile phone service is no longer optional. It is essential for work, school, healthcare, and staying connected with loved ones. Yet many consumers continue paying bills that are unnecessarily high, overly complicated, and filled with confusing charges. At a time when every dollar matters, that simply is not acceptable.
At Optimum, we believe customers deserve better. They deserve transparent pricing, dependable service, and the confidence that they are not overpaying just to stay connected. That is why we are stepping in to make things easier.
Last week, we launched UnBig Your Bill, a new initiative designed to help customers lower their wireless costs and cut through the confusion.
The concept is simple. If you are an AT&T or Verizon customer, bring your current mobile bill into any Optimum retail store. One of our mobile experts will review it and provide a like-for-like comparison using standard plan rates. If we can show you savings by switching to Optimum Mobile, you can choose to switch on the spot. If we cannot demonstrate savings, we will give you a voucher for a $150 gift card. It is a win-win for everyone.
We are making that promise because we are confident customers can do better. And, as a responsible company, we can do better.
We believe affordability should be more than a slogan. It should produce real savings for real families. Already, Optimum has saved millions of dollars for customers by bundling internet and mobile services. That is money families can put toward childcare, groceries, rent, savings, or any of the many expenses they face today.
We are continuing to build on that value.
But this is about more than a promotional offer. It is about recognizing the moment we are in and responding to it responsibly.
