The world of John Wick is officially making its entry to AAA gaming, giving fans a reason to celebrate. Saber Interactive and Lionsgate unveiled an AAA John Wick game atSony's PlayStation State of Play.

The newest big-budget title to drop this year will show the John Wick franchise's signature gun-fu combat style in an immersive gameplay experience. Fans are eager to step into Keanu Reeve's iconic role. The game has yet to receive an official title.

Video game publisher and developer Saber Interactive and Lionsgate are working with Chat Stahelski, the film's director, and actorKeanuReeves, to give fans a cinematic gameplay experience that expands the franchise's lore. The single player game is now being developed for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, according toSaber Games.

According to reports, the AAA action title's story line will reveal an untold chapter before the events depicted in the film series. This gives fans a rare chance to step into Baba Yaga's shoes at the peak of his career.

The major video game adaptation is set to expand the John Wick universe with cinematic storytelling, close-quarter gun-fu combat scenes, and a darker look at the rise of the infamous assassin. It will deliver nothing short of an intensely immersive experience for gamers.

Developed through a collaboration between Lionsgate, Saber Interactive, and American filmmaker Chad Stahelski, the untitled project is set to be a story-driven game set within the John Wick timeline taking place years ahead of the Impossible Task. Recognisable characters will be brought back alongside new faces created exclusively for the game.
