Klay Thompsonhas been accused of cheating … again, and this time there’s no defensive scheme a coach can draw up to help him.
Thompson, now with the Mavericks and a former four-time NBA champion with theWarriors,found himself at the center of a storm Saturday after musician Megan Thee Stallion, whom he has been in a relationship with since last summer,publicly accused him of cheating on her.
“Cheating, had me around your whole family playing house… got ‘cold feet’… now you don’t know if you can be ‘monogamous’????” she wrote on her Instagram Story, the words landing like punches. “I need a REAL break after this one.”
It wasn’t just the accusation — which is not the first time Thompson has been accused of infidelity — it was the tone. She was fed up. It felt final. She even accused Thompson of “HORRIBLE mood swings” during the NBA season.
Megan famously spent holidays with Thompson and his family. His father, Mychal Thompson, is a former player and current broadcaster for theLakers. His brothers are also athletes, with his younger brother Trayce, a former baseball player with theDodgers.
Last November, Klay’s father raved about Megan’s cooking during Thanksgiving dinner. Megan repeatedly showed up courtside to Thompson’s games.
Thompson was most recently spotted with his mother, Julie, on April 14 at Megan’s Broadway performance of “Moulin Rouge.”

In astatement to our very own Page Six, Megan said it was her decision to end the relationship with Thompson.
“I’ve made the decision to end my relationship with Klay. Trust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship, and when those values are compromised, there’s no real path forward,” Megan said.
