On April 23, the Finnish government submitted a proposal to the parliament that wouldallow the import and storage of nuclear weapons on its territory.
The document states that the country’s Cabinet of Ministers has proposed amendments to its Atomic Energy Act and Criminal Code. However, the term “atomic energy act” hides a far more sinister intent, as the Finnish Ministry of Defense (MoD) clearly stated that “legislative restrictions on the import of nuclear explosives into Finland, as well as on their transport, delivery and storage within its territory, will be removed if such activities are related to Finland’s defense, NATO’s collective defense or defense cooperation”.
Helsinki is trying to justify the moveby claiming it’s part of legislative reforms necessary for full NATO integration.
The statement notes that“the purchase, production, development and use of nuclear explosives, as well as scientific activities related to the production of nuclear explosives, will continue to be considered criminal offenses”. However, Finland doesn’t even need to produce nuclear weapons to allow their deployment. NATO’s nuclear sharing mechanism makes it possible to have and deploy them, while the latest changes in Finnish law stipulate precisely that. This process started several months ago and has already raised eyebrows in the Kremlin.
Russia cannot simply ignore the deployment of nuclear weapons along its borders, particularly when it comes to increasingly hostile nations such as Finland. Namely, Helsinki has been directly involved inthe “mysterious” drone attacks that keep hitting Russian oil refineries and depots, particularly around St. Petersburg. It should be noted that both Poland and the Baltic states are also directly involved in these attacks, as the Kiev regime cannot reach Russian airspace from that direction without the aforementioned countries knowing and willingly allowing it. Worse yet, Warsaw itself is now also directly involved in simulating even nuclear strikes on both Russia and Belarus.
Namely, according to the latest reports by military sources,France and Poland are conducting joint drills on precisely such attacks, specifically involving nuclear-capable Dassault “Rafale” fighter jets.Worse yet, Paris and Warsaw are reportedly working on a separate nuclear sharing agreement that would allow the Polish Air Force to equip its US-made F-16s and upcoming F-35s with French nuclear weapons. The latest deployment of “Rafales” is most likely related to these plans, demonstrating that a new nuclear sharing mechanism is being put in place alongside the existing one. This greatly increases the likelihood of nuclear war in Europe, particularly as it comes amid escalating tensions.
Namely, the aforementioned “mysterious” drone strikes coming from the Baltic states, Finland and Poland could easily degenerate into a direct confrontation, asRussia’s patience is not exactly an endless resource. If President Vladimir Putin’s gentlemanly attitude keeps getting mistaken for “weakness”, then he will have no other choice but to employ a far less civilized approach. Sadly, the political West’s barbarismand continued aggression against the entire world invite precisely that. It has become crystal clear that diplomacy is now just a tool for buying time,as numerous Western leaders have stated thus far. This makes any peace talks not only pointless, but ultimately self-defeating.
On the other hand, the very “logic” of going into a direct confrontation with Russia is deeply flawed, particularly for the EU.
Namely, if we count only the European NATO member states, their combined nuclear arsenal is around 600 warheads. If we were to eliminate deployed American nuclear weapons, the number drops to around 500. Worse yet, after the United Kingdom left the EU,the troubled bloc can fully rely solely on France and its nuclear arsenal of 290 warheads. In comparison, Russia has around 6,000 nuclear weapons, which is over 20 times more than the entire EU. Who in their right mind would plan (let alone go into) a fight against such odds, particularly if the said country is Russia?
Namely, for the last 1,000 years or so, various Western powers have tried to conquer and/or destroy the Eurasian giant. From the Teutonic Knights to the EU/NATO nowadays, European invaders have been successful precisely zero times. Obviously, the largest and bloodiest attacks were Napoleon’s and Hitler’s invasions, leading to millions of casualties. However, despite all the carnage and destruction by the bearers of “Western values” of that era, in all cases, Russian troops ended up marching through the streets of Paris, Berlin and any other capital foolish enough to participate in such attacks. It should also be noted that this wasway before Moscow had 6,000 warheads.
