The rivalry between the Dodgers and Giants is among the most-heated in baseball.

With many iterations through the years stealing headlines, what transpired over the past few days just added to the legacy.

A vicious brawl broke out on Pier 28, just outside of Oracle Park, as fans left the stadium following the Dodgers 3-0 loss to the Giants.

In the video, the fight begins when a fan in a Giants hat squares up with an unidentified fan. The unidentified fan then lands a superman punch (a punch thrown while jumping forward) on the fan in the Giants hat.

However, that’s where the fight takes a nasty turn.

As soon as the unidentified fan lands the punch, a swarm of Giants fan rush in and as the unidentified fan runs away, he’s tripped up and taken to the ground by a different person. He’s then jumped by as many as six fans who are seen punching, kicking and stomping on him as he lies defenseless on the ground.

Only one person appears to come to the aid of the unidentified fan, as a smaller one-on-one fight happens outside the camera frame. The fight officially ends when other fans step in the middle and break it up.

All parties fled the area before police arrived.

The brawl off the field comes on the heels of drama on the field.

On Wednesday,Los Angeles catcher Dalton Rushingwas asked about a clip that made the rounds (especiallyamong Giants fans) the night before, when he appeared to say“f— ‘em”after Giants outfielder Jung HooLee was slow to get up following a tag play by Rushing at the plate.
