Kishtwar:A loud explosion was head in Jammu and Kashmir's Kishtwar on Friday afternoon (April 24). Reports surfaced that that the plane crashed in the region. Locals also claimed smoke billowing out from a hill top. However, the Indian Air Force (IAF) refuted these reports as "false".
“There are certain media outlets and SM handles claiming an IAF aircraft has crashed near Kishtwar. This report is false,” a spokesperson for the Indian Air Force said in a statement. The IAF urged all the media outlets to verify information from official sources.
