There’s no denying that Grok is one of the most used AI chatbots today. The X’s AI system competes with top competitors like Gemini and ChatGPT. Grok is still growing, and more people will adopt it as time goes on. The only question is: Does this chatbot have all it takes to handle high usage? This question comes because new reports reveal that Grok is throwing a “high demand” error message due to heavy usage. The issue could also be a result of X’s move to drag more users to upgrade to the premium plan.

Reports so farindicatethat the issue, where Grok gives a “high demand” error message due to heavy usage, is widespread. Interestingly, this issue doesn’t only affect free X users. Reports have it that premium users are also experiencing the same problem. After showing the error message, the system further suggests an upgrade of the subscription plan for “priority access.”

For now, we don’t know exactly why the issue, in which Grok gives a “high demand” error message due to high usage, is surfacing. However, some users believe this is a trick from them to force users to buy SuperGrok.

This isn’t the first time Grok has done this. The “ask Grok” feature was initially opened to all users. Today, however, you can only use the feature if you have a premium account. The X team has yet to give any official update on this issue. As soon as anything drops, we’ll let you know about it.
