You certainly know how frustrating it is to see your phone battery drain and overheat. This not only causes sluggish performance. Additionally, it could lead to a sudden shutdown and frequent charging. Well, these are exactly the issues many Galaxy users currently experience. Most affected users reported that the problem began after installing the April 2026 security patch.
Reports across various social media platforms indicate that many users are experiencing a battery drain and overheating issue. Checking different platforms, including Reddit, we found out that this issue majorly affects Samsung S24 and S25Ultra users.
