Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry confirmed the “active shooter scene” in Baton Rouge, saying he is coordinating with law enforcement. “Please avoid the area,” he urged, adding that he and his wife are praying for those affected and thanking first responders for their swift action.
Preliminary information suggests that at least six people have been taken to the hospital.
