The following incidents have been reported by the Nassau County Police Department’s 7th and 8th Precincts and other law enforcement and emergency service units:

Farmingdale: Representatives of the Daleview Care Center, 530 Fulton St., reported the theft of $250 from the facility. The cash was reported missing between 3 p.m. March 31 and noon April 9.

•Nassau Police arrested Miguel Rodriguez, 48, of Farmingdale and charged him with shoplifting in connection with incidents at two locations, including Stop & Shop, 55 Motor Ave., South Farmingdale, and a housing complex at Secatogue Avenue and Wall Street on April 13 and April 15, respectively.

Massapequa: Someone spray-painted walls and doors at the vacated Macy’s building in the Massapequa Mall, 400 Sunrise Mall, on April 9.

Massapequa: Nassau County Police arrested Daniel Chub Cuc, 22, of West Hempstead and charged him with driving while intoxicated/impaired on April 11. The arrest occurred at Hicksville Road and Sunrise Highway at approximately 2:45 p.m.

On April 12, Nassau Police arrested Thomas Bennett, 52, of North Massapequa, charging him with driving while intoxicated/impaired.

People named in Crime Watch items as having been arrested and charged with violations or crimes are only suspected of committing those acts of which they are accused. They are all presumed to be innocent of those charges until and unless found guilty in a court of law.
