A sister location to Westhampton Beach’s beloved Local Provisions has opened in Eastport, with owner Jenn Neubauer aiming to nourish body and soul through a mix of artisan coffee and seasonally inspired, health-focused fare.
Local Brew officially opened in late March at 510 Montauk Highway and has quickly drawn a steady stream of customers seeking out its full coffee bar, grab-and-go meals, smoothies, salads and house-made baked goods.
The idea for the Eastport outpost grew out of community demand. After the former Eastport General Storeclosed in October, Neubauer said locals repeatedly urged her to bring her concept to the area.
“It felt like an opportunity to bring something special to the community,” she said, adding that she envisioned a place where beachgoers and residents alike could pick up quality provisions and enjoy a full coffee experience in one stop.

That community-driven mindset extends to the menu. Neubauer has focused on sourcing from Long Island artisans and using fresh, seasonal ingredients, including produce grown in her two commercial gardens in Eastport.
The result is a menu built around items like open-face toasts, vibrant salads, wraps and sandwiches, all designed to highlight what’s in season.
“Our menu is seasonally inspired,” Neubauer said. “We’re able to grab fresh vegetables right from our garden and focus on healthier options.”
Local Brew also offers gluten-free selections, aiming to provide something for a wide range of customers.
Inside, the space reflects Neubauer’s vision of an “earthy, organic, welcoming” environment. Lush greenery fills the shop, while Frida Kahlo artwork — a signature touch carried over from her Westhampton Beach location — adds a pop of personality.
