MURPHY: “Yeah, it’s so unbelievably disingenuous. Uh, obviously all these Republicans know that I was being sarcastic. They just don’t really want to actually have to answer for the fact that this war has gone off the rails. I mean, you’re talking about a war that’s cost American taxpayers billions of dollars, that’s allowed for Iran to control the strait. It’s more deeply integrated. Iran, Russia, and China. Over a dozen Americans have been killed. Doesn’t seem to be any endgame. So, Republicans don’t want to talk about that. Uh so, they try to create fake outrage over over sarcasm. I mean, it’s a fight. Unfortunately, we’ve got to eventually convince Republicans to vote to end a war that is hurting American citizens, hurting our reputation around the world.”
