Megyn Kelly has launched another pointed attack on President Trump’s handling of developments with Iran, claiming he is bored with the conflict and eager to move on.
The criticism surfaced in a clip shared widely on X, just as Trump announced he was extending the ceasefire with Iran indefinitely to allow for further negotiations.
Kelly referenced reporting that Trump is ready to wrap things up, stating: “Trump is bored of this war and wants it over. Whatever.”

She continued: “Maybe it wasn’t the best thing to start if you didn’t have the patience to actually see it through.”
Kelly added: “It’s really too bad that the cost of American lives isn’t the motivator. It’s that Trump has moved on to other things because he has the attention span of a gnat.”
She noted that opponents of the conflict from the outset would welcome an end to it, whether driven by boredom or other factors.
The remarks comes as Trump moved to de-escalate immediate military risks. On Tuesday, he posted on Truth Social that the United States would extend the ceasefire with Iran, originally set to expire Wednesday.
Trump wrote: “Based on the fact that the Government of Iran is seriously fractured, not unexpectedly so and, upon the request of Field Marshal Asim Munir, and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, of Pakistan, we have been asked to hold our Attack on the Country of Iran until such time as their leaders and representatives can come up with a unified proposal.”
He added: “I have therefore directed our Military to continue the Blockade and, in all other respects, remain ready and able, and will therefore extend the Ceasefire until such time as their proposal is submitted, and discussions are concluded, one way or the other.”
