Piper Rockelle has put an end to weeks of speculation. The 18-year-old confirmed she's in a relationship with Twitch streamer Rakai after the pair were spotted together at this year'sSuper Bowlin Santa Clara, California, according to People magazine.

The social media personality, who built her career as part of the 'Piper Squad' YouTube collective during the late 2010s, opened up about the relationship in an exclusive interview. And based on what she's saying, this is more than just another internet fling.

'We were just having fun,' Rockelle said. 'It was my first Super Bowl, and honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better person to share it with.'

The relationship first caught public attention back in January. Rakai posted photos of them together, including one in a hot tub that immediately sent fans into detective mode, trying to figure out if something was going on between the two influencers.

Then came the tattoo. In late January, Rockelle got 'Rakai' inked on her ankle during a livestream,Complex reported. The moment was watched by thousands of viewers as she debated placement with the 17-year-old sitting right next to her. 'Should I do foot or right here?' she asked, pointing between her ankle and forearm. The chat voted for ankle, and she went through with it.

By the time Super Bowl LX rolled around on February 8, the two were photographed sitting side by side in the stands. They looked comfortable. And the internet noticed.

Rakai, who won't turn 18 until November, has built an impressive following in the streaming world. The Syracuse native commands over two million Twitch followers and has racked up millions more across TikTok andInstagram. His rise came largely through collaborations with bigger names likeKai Cenat, whose massive platform helped introduce Rakai to a wider audience.

Despite their young ages and the enormous combined following they both have, Rockelle insists the relationship works because they're on the same wavelength. 'We're both kind of goofy and laid back,' she explained. 'I think that just works for us. People are going to talk no matter what. But at the end of the day, we have fun, I feel safe with Rakai, and I get to be with someone I care about. That's what matters.'
