A sports adventure that was supposed to be all about fun, thrill and unforgettable memories– did turn into an unforgettable memory– but for all the wrong reasons! A video was shared onsocial media, which showed a woman paragliding along with a ‘guide’. Theclipthen moved on to the woman filming herself in the sky, as she flew smoothly– only to allegedly crash into trees the very next minute! Yes, you read that correctly– the tourist allegedly crashed hard into trees during paragliding- despite flying with an “expert”.

The video was shared by a man, who then wrote about “adventure sports” being risky “in India", along with asking people to “avoid adventure sports in India” as they are “barely regulated.” The man also advised to always “verify every detail and the experience of the person” handling the activity.

Coming back to the incident, Times Now could not confirm the details and the authenticity of the post. Most netizens agreed with the man’s advice, while some recalled similar other accidents.

“Adventure sports in India are barely regulated. If you can, avoid them. If you’re too adventurous to stay away, at least have the sense to verify every detail and the experience of the person you’re trusting with your life. She was lucky, most won’t be,” the post read.

The post was shared on X (formerly Twitter) by the handle ‘iNikhilsaini’. It was shared a day ago and pulled more than 51K views from people.

“Yeah, I've driven 10-12 times... to Manali.. Never had any problem till date,” a user said. “People expect first world things in india then all of a sudden you dïe and realise that this is 3rd world,” added another.

“Many operators are running these activities just to make quick money without proper equipment, insurance, or experienced staff. The girl in this case was lucky. Many others are not,” commented the next person.

“On one cloudy day we were atop a hill in Chamba ,HP for the para glide. Every glider refused due to the bad weather but then one Hero came and took the flight. I had never seen anything like that before. The tourist and the glider barely survived,” added another.
