Snoop Dogg has added yet another business venture to his growing portfolio: an ice cream shop that just opened in Venice Beach, just in time for 4/20.
The 54-year-old rapper (born Calvin Broadus Jr.) opened Dr. Bombay Ice Cream in Venice on Sunday at 1827 Ocean Front Walk.
Snoop co-founded the venture with his son Cordell Broadus, who serves as the creative director, with rapper Lil Baby brought on as an investor, according toPeople.
“Bringing Lil Baby into Dr. Bombay was a very intentional move. Lil Baby has built one of the most authentic brands in music, and he understands how to connect with people at scale,” Broadus said in a statement.
“This isn’t about a name — it’s about aligning with someone who sees our long-term vision and can help us build something that lasts for the next generation of ice cream lovers.”

The Dr. Bombay brand launched in July 2023, with the ice cream sold in Wal-Mart and 7-Eleven stores nationwide, though the Venice location is its first storefront, with the grand opening on Sunday.
The company sells five different flavors of ice cream – Baked Blueberry Muffin, Peanut Butter Jelly Time, Strawberry Cream Dream, Tropical Sherbet Swizzle, and Iced Out Orange Cream.
The brand, “remixes classic frozen treats with West Coast flavor full of clever music nods and hip hop easter eggs, blending bold flavors, textures, and ingredients into an ice cream-sherbet hybrid that’s wholly unique and delicious.”
Back in October 2023, Snoop released a limited edition flavor called Birthday Party, in honor of his 52nd birthday, though it’s unclear if he plans on bringing that flavor back for the shop.
