There have been some disturbing updates on the horrific mass shotting yesterday in Shreveport, Louisiana that are downright shocking.
As The Gateway Pundit’s Cassandra MacDonaldreported, eight children ranging in age from 18 months to 14 years old were killed early Sunday morning after what is being called “a domestic dispute” escalated into a mass shooting in Louisiana.
The shootings occurred around 6:00 a.m. on Sunday. A total of 10 people were shot during the incident.
In addition to the eight children who died, two adult women were also shot and survived their injuries. Police suspected that some of the child victims were related to the suspect.
Now, The New York Post hasrevealedthat the person responsible for this incredibly evil act is 31-year-old Shamar Elkins, a U.S. Army Veteran. Police confirmed the incident was sparked by an argument with his wife around 6 a.m. Sunday.
The paper also unveiled something even more shocking: The murdered victims of Elkin were HIS OWN CHILDREN and their cousin.
The children were identified as Jayla Elkins, 3, Shayla Elkins, 5, Kayla Pugh, 6, Layla Pugh, 7, Markaydon Pugh, 10, Sariahh Snow, 11, Khedarrion Snow, 6, and Braylon Snow, 5. The Postnotesthat Elkins fathered seven of the children and was an uncle to the eighth victim but it’s unclear which of the eight dead was the cousin.
Shamar Elkins also shot the two mothers of his children during his rampage. According to Shreveport Police Department spokesman Christopher Bordelon, Elkins’ wife was shot in the face at the home with the eight kids.
The other injured victim is Elkins’ girlfriend, who was shot in a separate house nearby.
Per NBCNews, Elkins was killed by police after he fled in a carjacked vehicle.
