The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the final result for JEE Main 2026. The final result for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026 session 2 was released in the late hours of April 20, a date promised by NTA in the first half of the month. The final scorecards are now available for students at the official JEE Main website, i.e.jeemain.nta.nic.in. The scorecards released today are final, and no candidate can challenge the marks or final answer keys.
The final result comes a few hours after NTA released the final answer key for JEE Main 2026 session 2. Students can check thefinal answer key here. This time, two questions from Physics subject has been dropped. These questions are from the Physics section of April 4, first/ morning shift exam.
Step 1: Visit the official JEE Main website at jeemain.nta.nic.in
Step 2: Click on the 'JEE Main 2026 session 2 result' link
Step 3: Key in your credentials, such as Application Number and Date of Birth, or Application Number and Password
Step 4: Your scorecards will be available on your screen
Step 5: Check and download the scorecards for future reference.
This time, the JEE Main session 2 examination was held at approximately 566 centres located in 304 cities across India and 14 cities abroad, with around 11.23 lakh candidates appearing. This time, 26 candidates scored 100 NTA score, which is an increase from 24 of last year. Among 2026 toppers include 1 each from GEN-EWS, and OBC-NCL. Like January session, there is no female candidate among the 26 candidates who have achieved the perfect score. Telangana's Mallavarapu Aasna is female topper this year.
To qualify for JEE Advanced 2026, candidates must rank among the top 2,50,000 successful candidates in the BE/ BTech paper of JEE Main 2026.
