A private plane crashed into the Ara Mountain in Chhattisgarh's Jashpur district on Monday (April 20). Flames and thick smog from the crashed aircraft were seen rising from Ara Mountain. The police and administration officials rushed to the scene after being alerted, according to reports. The number of people aboard the plane has not been confirmed yet, as the authorities are still gathering information at the site.
The incident is said to have occurred in the Ratanpahli forest near Khurasagarha village in the Narayanpur police station area.
The aircraft was flying at a very low altitude when it collided with the mountain. Moreover, the Collector and SP have departed for the crash site.
