Nate Diazhas unfinished business and plans to return to the octagon to claim what he believes is rightfully his.

The 40-year-old has set his crosshairs on the BMF title, which is currently in Max Holloway’s possession. Blessed’ will defend it next month at UFC 326 againstCharles Oliveirain a rematch.

Diaz’s last octagon outing was in 2022, at UFC 279. Diaz fought Tony Ferguson, submitted the latter in Round 4, grabbed the Performance of the Night bonus, and decided to say farewell to the UFC.

Earlier this week, on Wednesday, the 40-year-oldsouthpawposted on X, announcing that he’s coming back for the BMF throne. He wrote:

“Let’s not act like I didn’t start a whole division bringing value to all these guys claiming they’re it. I gave opportunity and put notice on the dopest fights I got unfinished business, and I plan on going and taking what’s mine asap 1st to ever start a division and the dopest one at that. You’re welcome motherf**kers. I’ll see you soon, I’m coming👊🏼”

For the unversed, after Diaz scored a win over Anthony Pettis at UFC 241, he called outJorge Masvidaland pitched the idea of the “baddest mother****er in the game belt.” During the octagon interview, which Diaz has added in his X post above, he said:

“We’re fighting for the baddest mother****er in the game belt, and that’s mine. I would like to defend it against Jorge Masvidal.”
