Jones called Trump 'unhinged'(Image: @RealAlexJones/X)

Alex Jones has branded Donald Trump "unhinged" as he responds to the president's latest attack against some of MAGA's biggest figureheads.

Thefar-right radio show host and conspiracy theoristcalled on Americans to "fly their flags upside down," in protest of the president and his war with Iran, as he reacted toTrump calling him "fried". Jones was once among Trump's most loyal supporters.

But he has joined agrowing list of leading MAGA figures who've turned on the presidentin the wake of his intervention in the Middle East. On Friday, Trump exploded at several of his former allies, including Jones, on Truth Social.

"It’s easy! Tucker is a Low IQ person - Always easy to beat, and highly overrated!!! So are Megyn Kelly, 'Candace' Really Dumb and mentally ill!), and Bankrupt Alex Jones, who is completely 'fried,'" the president raged. "There are others, also! Then we have some that are VERY GOOD, true MAGA all the way, and smart. I should do a list of good, bad, and somewhere in the middle. Wouldn’t that be fascinating??? President DJT," he added.

This came after Trump referred to the same group as "low IQ!, "losers," and "nut jobs," in another Truth Social post earlier this month. "This is my response to the new attack President Trump launched on myself and other sane America patriots today," Jones wrote as he shard a video clip of himself to X.

The far-right radio host accused Trump of 'political suicide'(Image: @RealAlexJones/X)

"The evidence is overwhelming President Trump is committing political suicide on purpose, and has made a deal to sabotage the midterms. America is now under the control of a foreign government. Everyone needs to fly their flags upside down, because our nation is in distress," he added.

"For the second time in a week and a half, President Trump has come out and viciously attacked myself and other prominent people that have warned about the Iran war being a total disaster, which it's been proven to be," Jones said in his video response.

He referenced Trump's plummeting approval rating as he warned, "The Republicans are going to lose the midterms massively."
