A car exploded today at the Main Research Computing Centre of Vladimir Putin’s Presidential Executive Office in Moscow.
The mystery blast caused major damage to a Mercedes ML350.
The centre in Ryabinovaya Street is some nine miles west of the Kremlin.
The IT structure is reportedly responsible for the high-tech support for Putin and his government.
Emergency services rushed to the scene to extinguish the blaze.
Initial reports said the blast was inside the car, which was unoccupied at the time.
