As cameras rolled, Gandhi was heard saying, "Come, let’s do it together... Let's stand together" and appeared to reach out toward one of the ministers. Gandhi's move prompted the ministers to walk away. The video of the exchange is circulating widely on social media platforms.
The video shows Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi making his way to where Union Ministers Pralhad Joshi and Ashwini Vaishnaw were speaking to reporters on Wednesday. As Rahul Gandhi approaches the ministers, he says, "I'll also come and say hello."

The ministers were reportedly addressing the media over Rahul Gandhi's speech in the Lok Sabha, saying that the Leader of Opposition should have "authenticated facts" before making allegations on the historic India-US trade deal, the Epstein files and other issues.
Rahul Gandhi had mounted a no-holds-barred attack on the central government on Wednesday while participating in the debate on the Union Budget in the Lok Sabha. Gandhi claimed that Indian interests had been "surrendered" under the trade deal to protect the BJP's financial architecture.
Criticising the Indo-US deal, Gandhi drew an analogy of how in martial arts after securing a grip, the next step is a chokehold, and then the opponent taps to give up. Gandhi underlined the need to protect the country's people, data, food supply and energy system.
