A mysterious skywriting message reading “Celeste is a liar” appeared over the Coachella area shortly after singerD4vdwas arrestedin connection with the killing of14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez.
It is not known who arranged the aerial display, and authorities have not confirmed any link between the message andthe ongoing murder investigation.

The timing, however, quicklyfueled speculationonline.
D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, was taken into custody Thursday by LAPD officers who moved in on a Hollywood Hills homewhere he had been staying.
He wasarrested by the department’s Robbery-Homicide Divisionand is being held without bail, police said.
Video from the scene showed Burke being escorted from the residence in handcuffs.

He had been out of public view for months prior to the arrest.
In an official statement, the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed the arrest.
