“While detailed reviews are still underway, a preliminary review of the systems and records pertaining to the Nashik unit indicates that we have not received any complaints of the nature that are being alleged on either our ethics or POSH channels," Krithivasan said.
The IT services firm reiterated its commitment to workplace safety, stating it maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward harassment or misconduct. It added that it is fully cooperating with law enforcement authorities as the matter remains under investigation.
“As we have stated before, we have a zero-tolerance policy towards any form of coercion or misconduct. We are focused on supporting our employees and ensuring a safe and respectful workplace across all our locations," the CEO added.
TCS has appointed Deloitte and law firm Trilegal as independent advisors to support its internal probe into the Nashik BPO unit case. The investigation is being led by President and COO Aarthi Subramanian. An Oversight Committee, chaired by independent director Keki Mistry, has also been constituted to review the findings and recommend further action if needed. The company said the probe’s conclusions will be submitted to the committee upon completion.
The case surfaced in March after a woman employee at the Nashik BPO unit alleged that a colleague entered into a relationship with her under the pretext of marriage. Following her complaint, police registered multiple FIRs citing allegations of mental and sexual harassment between 2022 and 2026, along with claims of managerial inaction and related offences.
The investigation is ongoing, and TCS said it is continuing to fully cooperate with law enforcement authorities.
