President Donald Trump said Friday that Iran was removing mines from the Strait of Hormuz with US assistance, after Tehran said the crucial sea passage was reopen.
“Iran, with the help of the U.S.A., has removed, or is removing, all sea mines!” Trump said on his Truth Social network.
