The Massapequa School District will conduct a survey of parents of kindergarten through fifth-grade students attending the Massapequa elementary schools to determine whether there is interest in a school breakfast program.
If insufficient interest is determined, the Massapequa Board of Education will request an exemption to participate in this program from the state Education Department.
Parents and taxpayers are asked to share their concerns regarding the district’s survey and exemption request by contacting the Massapequa Food Service office in writing at Massapequa Administration, 4925 Merrick Road, Massapequa, N.Y. 11758, or by phone at (516) 308-5745.
