In a clip from a recent live interview with The Bulwark’s Tim Miller in Dallas, the host kicked off the discussion by asking, “First, how big is God’s sausage? Would you say we know God as a man, and so I’m just wondering, like, how healthy his hog is?”
Talarico responded, “Listen, I know that I was being provocative with that comment. Uh, I made it on the floor of the Texas House when the extremists in the Texas legislature were trying to pick on kids who were different. While maybe provocative politically, I don’t think it’s controversial theologically. Most Christians believe God is beyond gender.”
Texas Democrat Senate nominee James Talarico — who’s allegedly a devout Christian — is now talking about “God’s sausage” and defends saying “God is nonbinary.”

The far-left candidate went on to cite the Apostle Paul, claiming the remark aligns with Christian theology.
Talarico first made headlines for the “God is nonbinary” declaration back in 2021 during a speech on the Texas House floor.
Texas Republicans have passed their anti-trans bill.
Over and over Christians used scripture to justify bullying trans kids.
I told them in my faith, God is non-binary.#txlegepic.twitter.com/6Z5jk5v5nW
