Members of the Roslyn High School Students United for Safer Schools Club and the Diversity Club attended the multi-school Breaking Borders event at Syosset High School on Feb. 26, joining students from across Nassau County for a day focused on collaboration, leadership and understanding.
Throughout the day, participants engaged in student-centered activities that encouraged problem-solving and teamwork to address real-life challenges. Students also collaborated to brainstorm ideas and create plans for future initiatives and events.
Roslyn students stood out for their enthusiasm and thoughtful contributions, bringing their talents, perspectives and teamwork to each activity. The experience provided an opportunity to connect with peers from other schools while building skills in communication, leadership and collaboration.
“Our Roslyn High School students were amazing. Each one contributed their talents and skills, making the day truly special,” Roslyn High School club adviser Kinshasa Allen said. “It was an incredible experience for everyone involved.”
