**PIKESVILLE, MD** — Baltimore County Police are currently on the scene conducting a homicide investigation following a fatal shooting that occurred earlier today at 8310 Scotts Level Road.
Officers were dispatched to the location shortly after reports of gunfire echoed through the area. Upon arrival, they discovered one individual suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Despite the immediate efforts of first responders, the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
